Christopher Heggen

Kimley-Horn and Associates

 

Christopher W. Heggen has over 15 years of experience as a transportation engineer and is a Vice President and shareholder at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. in West Palm Beach. He serves a number of clients throughout South Florida, primarily evaluating traffic impacts and parking requirements for new development and redevelopment projects. He also serves as the manager for the Forensic, Aviation, Civil, Transportation Engineering and Landscape Architecture group within the Kimley-Horn West Palm Beach office.

Mr. Heggen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida and was recognized as one of the top 2014 “Top 20 under 40” Engineers in the Southeastern Region by Engineering News-Record (ENR). He has been active in his church and several community organizations.

Jennifer Davidson

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County

 

Jennifer Davidson began serving as Communication Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County on February 17, 2014 and was subsequently promoted to Development Associate in February 2016. She also volunteered with the affiliate beginning in 2011 as a Future Homeowner and now continues to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity International as a Team Leader for international volunteer groups. Previous to working in the non-profit sector, Ms. Davidson worked in the Culinary field as a Lead Baker for Whole Foods in Wellington and Pastry Cook for Ritz Carlton in McLean, Virginia. Jennifer received a B.A. in Web Development and Programming from DeVry University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in March of 2015. In addition, she holds a degree in Patissiere from Le Cordon Bleu London, graduating with honors in December 1998.

Julia McClellan

Julia McClellan is a native Floridian, born and raised in Jacksonville, FL.  Upon completing high school at St. Johns Country Day, she moved to Gainesville, FL to attend the University of Florida.  While in college, Julia was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and pursued a degree in Architecture.  When she graduated, she was lured to Atlanta to fulfill her dreams of living in a big city.  She began her career working in architectural firms as a designer; later she fell in love with contract furniture sales and has been working in that career ever since.  In 2004, Julia and her family moved to be back to the place they loved most, South Florida.  Most recently she has accepted a position with Haworth, as Sales Territory Manager for Broward and Palm Beach counties.  Among Julia’s greatest accomplishments are her two children, ages 10 and 13.  When she’s not busy running her kids around to swimming and soccer, Julia loves spending time with her 2 dogs and wonderful husband.  Most importantly, she is anchored in her faith and a strong desire to help others.  She wakes up every day with the desire of being a better human than the day before and hopes that this inspires others to do the same.  

Gerald Hearns

 

 

Gerald was born and raised in Palm Beach County and is currently attending Florida Atlantic University.  He is seeking a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration and Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship.  Hearns is serving as an intern for Merrill Lynch in their Ft. Lauderdale office.  He is researching launching his own clothing line and currently writing a book.

Sarah Spell

Mackenzie Development Solutions

 

Sarah McKenzie Spell has fifteen years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and has worked for the University of Miami, the American Cancer Society, and Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County. She founded her own consulting firm, McKenzie Development Solutions in 2015 and has worked with The Salvation Army and the American Lung Association, among others. 

 

Sarah serves as President of the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Palm Beach County chapter. She has also served on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County, DeGeorge Club in West Palm Beach. 

 

Sarah holds a Bachelors degree in Public Relations from Loyola University, New Orleans and a Masters of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
