A Harvard report found that South Florida's affordable housing crisis is the worst in the Nation. Stagnant wages, higher land and construction costs, increased demand for rentals and rising home values have all contributed to the affordable houisng situation in South Florida. Habitat Housing Solutions, Inc's (HHSI), mission is to build financially feasible homes. We build homes in some of Palm Beach Counties most distressed neighborhoods: The Glades Region, Coleman Park, and Northwest District. HHSI is a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). We use CHDO funds we have been awarded to acquire, maintain and build workforce housing in these neighborhoods to stimulate revitalization.
